A Two Day Short Course will be held on Public Transit Planning at the University of Toronto, Canada.

The two day short course is being led by:

  • Professor Amer Shalaby, a leading researcher in public transit planning and ITS. Based at the University of Toronto, Professor Shalaby has led many research and consulting projects on various topics of public transit and has published widely in technical journals. He is a member of the Transportation Research Board committees on Bus Transit Systems and Light Rail Transit, and he sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems.
  • Professor Graham Currie, Australia�s first Chair in Public Transport and an internationally recognised public transport service planner and researcher. Based at Monash University, Professor Currie is an ex service planner with London Transport and is a member of the US Transportation Research Board committees on Bus Transit Systems, Light Rail Transit and Public Transportation Planning and Development.
