The Institute of Transportation Engineers is an international professional body with thousands of members worldwide. The Australia and New Zealand section is among the most active and contains the only student chapter outside North America. Members have access to a wide range of professional development opportunities including regular seminars, workshops and conferences both in Australia and internationally. The highly respected ITE Journal is published monthly and the Aust. & NZ section publishes a newsletter quarterly. The student chapter runs regular professional and social functions including career advice, resume service and opportunities to network with employers over a few drinks.
