Assessment:

Units are assessed using a combination of continuous assessment (assignments, papers, problem sets) and a three hour, end of semester, examination. The material sent to students at the start of each semester details the relative contributions of each component of the assessment; however, the examination usually comprises 50 per cent of the total marks in each unit. Examination venues are arranged by Monash University and are located throughout Australia, and around the world. Unless notified otherwise, these are closed book examinations.
