1. Overview
The Infrastructure Engineering Management degrees are offered at three levels, namely:
- Graduate Certificate requires completion of 4 units
- Postgraduate Diploma requires completion of 4 units, or 8 units if articulating from the Graduate Certificate
- Masters requires completion of 8 units, or 12 units if articulating from the Postgraduate Diploma
Entry and Articulation Path options are available to students dependant on prior completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or another relevant discipline.
These courses draw on a common pool of postgraduate units offered
through the Department of Civil Engineering as described below. For each course there are a specified list of core units: two for the Graduate
Certificate, four for the Postgraduate Diploma and four for the Masters
Degree. The remaining units in each course are electives. Through
these elective units options you can design a program of study to suit
your professional needs. You can even obtain transfer of credit for
units completed at other universities (conditions apply). Through this credit transfer option
you can complete management or other units from either a university
located close to where you live or through another university that offers
distance education programs. This gives you maximum flexibility to
combine technical and management subjects or other units that meet
your professional development needs.
