3. Entry Requirements

The entry requirements for the program are summarised in the table below:

If you have completed these qualifications:

You are eligible for entry to:

3 year undergraduate degree in Engineering, Science or Applied Science

Graduate Certificate in Infrastructure Engineering and Management (and there is then an articulation path through the Postgraduate Diploma to the Masters Degrees)

4 year degree in Engineering OR 4 year honours degree in Science or Applied Science OR 3 year degree with appropriate postgraduate qualifications

Master of Infrastructure Engineering and Management

To be eligible for admission to the above programs you must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or another relevant discipline.

An alternative entry path is available for students who have no formal tertiary qualification. The alternative entry path requires at least three years of high level experience and successful completion of two units from the program (one of which must be a core unit) on a ‘not-for-degree' basis with an average of at least 65 per cent. You get full credit for those 2 units upon entry so that you only need to do 2 more units to qualify for the Graduate Certificate.

For further alternative entry enquiries, please contact the Director of the Postgraduate Program, Dr Asadul Haque by email: asadul.haque@eng.monash.edu.au
