2004 Civil Engineering Alumnus Award

2004 Civil Engineering Alumnus of the Year, Clive Weeks

The Department of Civil Engineering at Monash has named Mr Clive Weeks, 2004 'Alumnus of the Year'.

The award recognises alumni of the department who have made a significant contribution to the engineering profession and the community

Mr Weeks has held a number of high profile positions in the engineering profession and is currently chairman of consulting firm GHD.

GHD is one of Australasia's largest and longest established companies of multi-disciplinary consultants. As chairman, Mr Weeks heads up a large integrated network of 2,300 personnel and over 50 offices in Australia, the Middle East, Asia, New Zealand and the Americas.

Mr Weeks graduated from Monash with a BE (Hons) in 1968 and an MEngSc in 1971.
