Each year the Department of Civil Engineering hold the Combined Civil Engineering Alumni and Guest Lecturers' Dinner to present the 'Alumnus of the Year' award. The award recognises alumni of the Department of Civil Engineering who have made a significant contribution to the engineering profession and the community.
