PhD Research Topic

Measurement of pipe-ground interaction behaviour using instrumented field tests and geophysical methods

Supervisors

Date Commenced

20th August, 2007

This is part of the ARC linkage project for predicting and controlling pipe bursts. This project will be focus on field instrumentation of buried pipe for study of pipe-ground interaction behaviour accounting for seasonal climatic effects. And data collection of soil properties using geophysical survey method for prediciton of pipe failures.
