Short Resume:

Dr. Haque has more than 10 years of teaching and professional experience in the field of geotechnical engineering. Prior to join Monash University in June 2002, Dr. Haque worked as an Experienced Geotechnical Engineer for Rail Infrastructure Corporation (RIC) of NSW since 1999. He gained substantial professional experience through a wide variety of geotechnical engineering projects on slope stability, embankments, numerical modelling in geomechanics, bridge foundations, track geotechnology, geotechnical investigation and monitoring, and reporting. Dr Haque is very much interested in pursuing an academic career blended with field experience. He is currently involved in research on filtration behaviour of granular materials under cyclic loading, soil improvement using additives, rock joints, railway geotechnics, and laterally loaded piles in jointed rocks.
