Short Resume:

John's academic and research background is in economics and management, with a focus on education and transport. After many years in senior management positions in the Faculty of Business at RMIT University, where he was responsible for developing the transport and logistics management programs and foundation Head of the Department of Marketing, Logistics and Property, he joined ITS(Monash)as Program Director of the industry program for Bus and Coach Operator accreditation. John is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and actively involved in the CILT (Victorian Section) General Committee and Passenger Transport Group. He has professional and consulting experience in the public sector, including the Victorian Ministry of Transport, the public transport operating authorities and water resource boards. John is a member of the editorial advisory board of the International Journal of Logistics: Research and Applications. He has undertaken quality assurance auditing with Open Learning Australia.
